Rachel Yallop is one of Britain’s foremost calligraphers

and lettering designers.

Rachel Yallop’s work features expressive calligraphy in graphic design.

She has a commitment to original work which explores form, space

and freedom of line. Working with design consultants and marketing

agencies, her creativity can be seen on some of Britain’s most recognisable

household brands. Rachel’s work has featured in many specialist

publications and books.

She is the current Chairman of Letter Exchange, the much respected

professional body which promotes fine lettering through the exchange of

ideas between fellow professionals.

Rachel studied at Ravensbourne and the Central Schools of Art & Design

in London gaining an MA in 1985. Today she is in demand from some

of Britain’s leading art schools to lecture on courses in creative calligraphy

and lettering design.
